چکیده
Background: This study aimed to compare the continuous rotation and reciprocating movements of rotary files in achieving apical patency root canal retreatment. Materials Methods: vitro, experimental evaluated 64 extracted mandibular molars. The teeth were prepared up F3 with ProTaper Universal obturated using lateral compaction technique. divided into four groups (n = 16) based on mesiobuccal curvature (Schneider’s method) type rotational movement. Groups 1 2 included straight retreated WaveOne Gold Retreatment system, respectively. 3 4 moderately curved canals Universal, Apical was ensured by observing tip a hand K‑file at foramen. Data analyzed Fisher’s exact test. P < 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results: successfully achieved all 16 group (100%) 15 (93.75%). No significant difference noted between (P 1.00). متن کاملInfluence of apical patency and cleaning of the apical foramen on periapical extrusion in retreatment.
This study evaluated the influence of apical patency, root filling removal technique and cleaning of the apical foramen, concerning the amount of debris extruded during root canal retreatment. Forty mandibular incisors were randomly assigned to 4 groups - GIM (n=10), GIIM (n=10), GIPT (n=10) and GIIPT (n=10), which were named according to leaving (I) or not (II) apical patency during canal prep...
متن کاملcomparison of apical extrusion of debris by using single-file, full-sequence rotary and reciprocating systems
objectives: during root canal preparation, apical extrusion of debris can cause inflammation, flare-ups, and delayed healing. therefore, instrumentation techniques that cause the least extrusion of debris are desirable. this study aimed to compare apical extrusion of debris by five single-file, full-sequence rotary and reciprocating systems. materials and methods: one hundred twenty human mandi...
